One exciting place to visit for a perfect family dinner is at Cafe Lidia. It is an Italian restaurant located at a remote street in Kalumpang, Marikina. When we got there, we were all shocked because of all the cars outside being parked and all the people going inside, knowing that the place is quite isolated and hard to find. The old-fashioned entrance and the neatly furnished interior welcomed us bringing smiles to our faces.

While waiting for our order, we sat in a soft cushioned sofa and in front of us was a classic wooden table large enough for the 6 members of our family. The oven-fresh fragrance and the sweet-toned music ambience inside made me really hungry. Finally, dinner was served. The crispy toasted crust of the pizza, with soft meaty toppings and chewy mozzarella cheese, an authentic Italian pizza was the first one to be finished.

We then concentrated on our own order of choice. My order was one of the best-sellers, their carbonara. I immediately plunged my fork in the white creamy sauce of the pasta. The sweet-creamy pleasure taste inside my mouth which is very delicious made me forgot my name.

We were all done and I was really full. The mouth-watering refrigerated cakes tempted us but we cannot eat no more. So, it was goodbye for us. Cafe Lidia's really a fun place to eat and to just chill because of its feel-at-home vibe. I really enjoyed there and it was a really great experience for me.
